Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Account and access information

We collect the email address used to create and authenticate an account, an internal user identifier, account confirmation and approval status, organization membership, assigned role, and project-access permissions. Password authentication is handled by our authentication provider; we do not receive or store your readable password.

Production content

Users may enter and store production information such as project titles and descriptions, language and genre, names entered for production personnel or characters, scripts or scene summaries, production locations, schedules, notes, craft items, creative concepts, character arcs, and other project materials.

“Location” fields refer to production locations entered by users. FiLiCy does not currently request or collect the device's GPS location.

Collaboration and security records

We maintain records needed to synchronize work and protect shared projects, including project revisions, change history, the account responsible for a change, timestamps, archived versions, and access-control changes.

Local device and technical data

FiLiCy stores a local copy of authorized project information to support loading and continuity. On supported mobile devices, authentication session credentials are stored using secure device storage. Removing the app generally removes its local application data, but it does not delete cloud records.

Our hosting and authentication provider may process standard network and security information, such as IP address, request timestamps, authentication events, and service logs, to deliver and secure the service.

2. How we use information

• Create, authenticate, approve, and manage accounts.
• Provide synchronized film-production workspaces.
• Enforce Owner, Admin, Contributor, and Viewer permissions.
• Display shared updates to authorized team members.
• Maintain revision history, resolve edit conflicts, and recover data.
• Investigate errors, abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents.
• Respond to support, privacy, and legal requests.

FiLiCy does not currently use personal information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking, and we do not sell personal information.

3. How information is shared

Production content is shared with members of the relevant organization or project according to their approved role. Organization Owners and Admins can manage access and may see organization projects and activity information.

We use Supabase as a service provider for authentication, cloud database, synchronization, and related infrastructure. Service providers process information on our behalf under their applicable contractual and security terms.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce agreements, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or complete a business reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not make production content public through FiLiCy.

4. Retention and deletion

We aim to complete a verified account-deletion request within 30 days. Organization-owned production content may remain available to other authorized members. Security and audit records may be retained in anonymized form where necessary to protect the service, establish change history, comply with law, or resolve disputes. Residual copies may remain temporarily in protected backups until those backups expire through their normal lifecycle.

Archived project versions may remain recoverable until deleted under the organization's retention process. When an individual account is deleted, we delete or de-identify the departing user's account information and attribution where required and reasonably possible, subject to legal and security exceptions.

5. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information, or to object to certain processing. We may verify your identity before completing a request.

You can sign out at any time. Organization Owners and Admins can revoke a member's access to organization projects.

6. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards including authenticated access, role-based permissions, database access policies, encrypted network transport, protected mobile session storage, revision controls, and activity history. No system can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect their credentials and devices and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

7. Children and international processing

FiLiCy is a professional production-management service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly solicit accounts from children below the minimum age required by applicable law.

Information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate measures for international transfers.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as FiLiCy changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required.
